Weekend Getaway

So my brother just drove 15 hours to camping with us for one night. What a trooper. Actually I would say Licia is the trooper for coming along with him, Gray loves to camp. We had a lovely weekend with the two. Well three including their little dog Bella. They drove in on Friday. I was battling a stomach "something" so we didn't make it to the concert in the park like we had hoped. Then Saturday we quickly packed up and headed to Myron's favorite camping spot. It is a beautiful spot and with record heat we were thrilled to get up high. The only negative was we I forgot the pack-n-play. Sleep was quite the challenge for the little man. But none the less we had beautiful weather and a fun 24 hours.

They just left this morning so Sunday was a nice, hot, relaxing day at the house. Rylie and Wyatt have really enjoyed having Uncle Gray and Aunt Licia here. Cant wait until they come back!!

This week we have learned: Rylie LuHuHuves pillows. We lay them on the floor and she rolls on them, lays on them , falls on them.
Its hilarious.

She also really enjoys her "car". We bought this before we really "thought" about plastic's and RECALLS. UGH. For Christmas and our birthday we are hoping for a lot of wooden toys, NOT made in China(hint hint). However we understand plastics are likely to always be around the house...anyways back to the story.
Rylie LOVES her car.

It sings to her and helps her walk further. AND it is so funny when daddy pushes her on it. (check out the videos!)

More Milestones.

Little Miss Rylie had quite the busy week last week. Not only did she roll over...several times.. she also had her first big belly laugh..several times. It was the most precious sound in the whole wide world.

This week we shall rest. We had our last vistor in our two month run of guests. Gray drove in from San Diego only to be met by 4 days of rain. That doesn't happen here people! It was quite unfair. But it was fun to see him. He loved his little niece and was able to see her roll from her back to her stomach for the first time. Which by the way she did not like. She could not figure out how she got on her stomach! We were so happy Gray took time to come see us.




Jake, I promise I didn't forget. I did a post. Special to you from Reddog. It got lost. I dont understand. Happy 21! Hope Mom didn't embarrass you to bad ;) Please send me the video of Aunt Patty...Please!
