Spring Break 2015 | Moab

Once again we headed to our favorite desert destination, Moab, Utah. I realized on this trip this is our 9th year heading there for our Spring getaway. We used to go for Mother's Day until Myron started working for the schools, but we have gone every spring since Rylie was born. This year we were able to go with a big bunch of friends which made it even more of a treat. Especially for the kids, who we barely saw the whole time we were there.

I actually didn't even take that many pictures, we were just to busy having fun.
Our First day out we took the kids climbing on for the first time. It was so amazing to see them go no matter how scared they were.

Here goes Rylie!

I hadn't been in this saddle in years....

Wyatt's turn

We also did lots of hikes, swimming, bike rides, and ate loads of Smores!
Just so much fun....

Spring Break 2014

We were so excited to get a little time together for spring break this year. With my full time job as well as photography getting busier as well as Myron coaching Middle School soccer we weren't quite sure if we would be able to get away. Of course the plan ended up with us headed to Moab, Utah.....again. Don't get me wrong, I love the place I was just hoping for something new and less risky in the spring. I wanted to be warm.

Thankfully we were able to enjoy some beautiful weather . Plus some friends surprised us and joined the party a few days later. What a treat. Minus the ear infection Wyatt ended up with the last day we had a wonderful trip.

Bike Riding took on a whole new meaning for these two.

We hiked around Canyonlands one day.

not to scared of heights in this family

hiking the ridge

Our campground had a super fun park for the kids to play in.

Then some friends from Pagosa came and showed us a new park!

Another great family adventure on the books.

Moab: Part two

After a very cold and windy night, we decided to pack up a day early. We braved more wind and spent the day back at Arches as a family.

Tunnel Arch

can you see the children hiding...

Once we got closer to home we realized we may have jumped the gun.
The weather was worse in Pagosa then in Moab. We would have much rather stayed there.
What ever the choice we had a great time and look forward to much more camping this summer!
and here are all our pics, if you would like to look!!

Spring break 2013

We are still on break, but the first half we spent in Moab, Utah. this year we were able to go with friends which made it twice as fun, especially since it rained most of our trip. Myron took off Friday for a special guys weekend. They had to make sure to get some bike riding in before the families came.
Then Sunday we loaded up the kids and drove to meet them. I
They were so excited and must have asked every 15 minutes if we were there yet.

We arrived just in time for dinner!

Monday morning looked kinda iffy, weather wise. But we decided to head to Arches National Park before it actually got bad. We took the kids up to Delicate Arch, which we later learned was considered "strenuous". ( it really wasn't bad)They did great, and we made it back just as it started to rain.
Breakfast in the camper!

The kids got the biggest kick out of "rock climbing"

People kept warning us about how windy it was and we needed to hold onto our kids when we got to the top. Boy, they weren't joking!

This was Slickrock trail. A bike trail Myron rides. We went and walked some of it after a BIG dinner.
The next day the weather was the worst. We had to be creative when it came to things to do.
We werent really that creative, we actually went to McDonalds for wi-fi and breakfast. When it stopped snowing/raining we went and walked downtown. But the highlight of the day was definitely going to the Moab bowling alley. The kids L.O.V.E.D bowling.

OK, more pictures later! I will make on online folder for ya to go through too!!
