Hawk Paaerrr

High School. I loved High School. Mostly because I had these girls beside me. Not just there, but pretty much my whole, entire life. Shanna I met somewhere in elementary school. She "stole" my Hannah from me but I quickly figured out she its because she had awesome hair. opps that was middle school when we found that out. I soon figured out she was an amazing friend. Trisha, well we offically met in swim class at 6 months old but I dont really remember that. Third grade is what I remember. I think you all know my sob story that no one wanted to play with me and the sweetest girl in pig tails and pink overalls couldn't figure out why I was crying. She said she would play with me. That was Trish. Then there is Hannah. We go WAY back. She was my neighbor when I/We were born. She came to my house everyday for years while her mama went to school. She was my other sister.They all are. I love those girls. They love me. Still. Can you believe it.

This trip was a celebration. A celebration on Hannah meeting her man and uniting with him forever. He is so awesome. Did you know that is the other thing. Our husbands. They fit together so well. They love each other too. How did that happen. Anyways back to Hannah. We got to see her all dolled up and looking so happy. We got to be with each other and our sisters, who are honorary "girls" by the way, they always go where we go. Our husbands got to be together. Well mine was sick most of the time but it all worked out. It was amazing. No matter where we live, what we go through, how many kids we have when we get together it like a day never passed. I love that.

Rylie is asleep on the couch. I am not sure if this is good or bad. The "needer of much sleep" has been skipping a nap or two here or there. Its random and staggered but I am scared to say it is happening. On the bright side I may be able to get Wyatt and her on the same bedtime cycle if this whole nap thing is fading away. Wyatt needs to go down a little later from time to time and is also starting to cut his morning nap.

{sigh}

Its so true. Once you get a schedule down. BAM it's over. Time to make a new one. And oh what great timing. you know 5 days before another vacation.

{sigh}

Think of us.

On the bright side we headed to the park today. I finally towed all three kids to the park. The sun finally came out. The tempurture was finally above 60 degrees. It was so fun. Rylie talked the whole time about how shw was going back on an airplane in 5 days and she gets to go to a hotel and ride in Aunt Lisser's new car and show daddy how to fasten his airplane seatbelt. She is VERY excited. We all are. Because that means in 5 days we get to be in NC again and then in 8 days Hannah will be getting hitched and I cant tell you how excited I am about that.

weren't we cute......

It was Awesome!!!

I am working on some pictures. Its tough to pick from so many. We had a fabulous time and Jon and Kate's wedding was spectacular. Rylie played the role of flower girl and official dancer. She had a good time needless to say. We all did. But for if you would like to view all 300 some odd picture click here. For now we plan on kickin' it with Ge-Ga and Granddad, trying to get back on schedule, and praying for The McKinney family. We will be back up and running by the end of the week. Love ya!

Later

(Early morning adventures in Pagosa)

So the next few weeks we are swamped here at the Carr Homestead. We are lucky enough to have the Boe Family come and stay with us a few days during their Colorado adventure. Although I think the true adventure is going to be having 5/6 kids residing in our 1200 sq ft "palace". But oh I can feel the fun coming already. Next Uncle Jon and Kate will be getting hitched, then Ge-Ga and Granddad will be back for a few extra days with the kids.

Fun will be had by all.
No Doubt.

But I do plan on taking the next week or so off from the blogging world. Not to say I couldn't randomly post something or schedule something (which I love by the way have yall done that yet!!??) But for now lets just say adios until the 27th or so....

Peace

Exhausted, to say the least.

WARNING: Lots of Pictures to follow...

Oh my word I have so much to catch up on. I laughed this morning on my way to work as I recited what I would be blogging about today. I laughed because I thought of Becky and how I would just have to write that I was blogging in my head. So when I did finally get to work and get a few minutes to "check" on everyone I realized I needed much more time. You guys have been busy! What a week of being Internet free can do to a woman!

So, our trip was quite delightful. We arrived and spent our first day or so with Grandma and Grandaddy Carr. The weather was so beautiful the entire time! I just couldn't believe it. We usually experience quite a bit of rain and clouds on these trips. And I must say that Myron was upset to leave our 80 degrees here in Pagosa. But once we found out it was snowing, you heard me snowing, back in Colorado there were no second thoughts. Rylie also got to visit her Great Grandmother Carr. She had loads of fun playing with her necklaces and pillows.

Next stop was Reidsville, NC. Craig and Kristi were married at the beautiful Belmont Estate. We arrived early for the rehearsal and Rylie was able to enjoy some green grass [she never gets to see]. After the Rehearsal we headed to Craig's house were we settled in for the remainder of the festivities. He held the rehearsal dinner in his backyard. It is so pretty. Trying to keep Rylie away from the pool was another story. The mashed potato bar I thought would surly be a hit for miss Rylie. I could not figure out why she wouldn't eat any of it. That was until she stuck her face in it. She thought it was a drink the whole time.

Next was the Big day. It was a fabulous beautiful event, which I failed to get many pictures of. Rylie had a little "accident" right as the ceremony started so we retreated to the car for a bit. She was pretty tired by that point as well. To much fun for one little girl to handle. They had a horse and carriage there and every time the horse would take someone on a ride she would just cry! Oh to be one!

For those of you who don't know the above picture is with The James Bailey. He is how Myron and I met, and apparently how Myron met Craig as well.....

The next day was spent at the house. We had planned on attending the Zoo with the GrandFolks, Great Aunt Jeanne and Aunt Lisser. However after driving home at 11pm the night before we decided to make it a nice day by the pool. And THAT it was. Pictures on Lisser's site. The tough part was waking up at 3:45 the next morning to catch our flight, then do the 4 hour drive from Albuquerque to Pagosa. This may have also contributed to our family bedtime of 7:30.

So basically with having to go to work today after our lovely yet busy 6 days away, you are very lucky to get pictures today! haha

I will try to upload the rest on Picasa this evening.

Phew, guess I should go back to work now.

p.s. Avery come out already!!
