The Rosenbergs got a camper. Its a pretty sweet '75 "swinger". We met them and the Kain's out at the Blanco camp ground Saturday for a fun afternoon of play and a yummy dinner. We didnt camp, because GeGa and Grandad were coming Sunday morning but we had a blast none the less. Cant wait for more family adventures with everyone!!
Rylie helped Allison with her tent and Wyatt watched. It took him a few to warm up.

Allison won him over quickly, with M&M's.

The Sand Dunes 2010

Like I said, we played in "God's Sandbox" this Sunday. And even though the Rosenbergs were still basking in the excitement of purchasing a camper so they can camp with us this summer, we convinced them to come with us! It was super fun. The wind was a little strong at times but we were able to enjoy the warm sand, blue skies, and silly friends.

and of course we had to have some picture in the back of the truck, Wyatt's most favorite place in the whole wide world...

Piedra River Ranch

We told Rylie we were going to take Daddy lunch at the barn.

When we got there she walked in a asked "Where are all the cows?"
I am pretty sure no cow will ever step foot inside this "barn".

Buddy couldn't quite figure out this deer.

She had fun, cows or not.

8 more days 'till we head to Aunt Lisser's!!!

oh and this was the video I meant to put up yesterday if your interested.
How could you not be, right?!

Hu-rah

Lizzie, as Rylie calls her, has a new job. We are oh. so. proud of her. Friday met up at Pagosa Brewery to "send her off" so to say. I still get to see her three days a week. I mean other then socially that is!! Isn't that fun.

Mom, Wyatt LOVES this stroller!! He could sit in it all.day.long.

Rylie got her own table.

Mrs. Vick one of the first "stranger's" to make Wyatt laugh.

sweetness

On Friday's on of our favorite things to do is go to the consignment store. It works out well as Rylie loves the toys, I love everything else, and Wyatt loves the ceiling fans. Rylie's big purchase this week was he Strawberry Shortcake Suitcase. She LOVES it! She immediately came home, sat in her pink car and said she was going to Aunt Lisser's house!

Gracie's dad refuses to believe she is the touchy feely type. Grace LOVES to touch. Everything. Why just yesterday I found her sucking on Wyatt's socks, which were still on his feet. The day before she was hugging my couch, literally. I would put her back with the toys she would roll back to the couch. She loves to snuggle with Wyatt too. Either that or she is trying to pin him, but he is already down. And I can never get to the camera quick enough to capture the moment. So today when she rolled over to "attack" Wyatt he actually put made some moves. They are such sweetie pies!

another scheme, likely to keep the folks up all night.

Update

Sorry for the delay, after our dr appointment we hung out around town. We were able to get Rylie some much needed fall clothes. Nights are pretty chilly here and days are quickly cooling off. Poor girl had nothing but summer clothes. We actually have a winter storm warning for the weekend, figures.

As for the doctor's appointment Mama bear is very happy. Dr. Baca says I am about 70% effaced and almost 3 cm!!! Oh heaven! If the baby doesn't come by Monday, that's right MONDAY, we are going to be induced. I have to confess I was going to ask them to schedule an induction later in the week but took her up on Monday with no thought. I am very excited about this I tell ya!!!

Plus, Uncle Gray is coming on Sunday. My brother, as many of you know, has been in Iraq for the last few months. He has chosen to drive from San Diego on Sunday, his birthday, to see his mama, niece, and sister. Myron and Reddog too of course.

We went to visit Liz yesterday. Her nursery has turned out so well. She will be induced on Tuesday if Baby Berg doesn't arrive before then.

I will give you the side view of Liz and her 42 week belly.

So Rylie's new thing is her babies. It is so sweet. They must do everything she does. When she eats they eat. When she plays, they play. When she sleeps, they sleep. They even had to BOTH go with her to the sitter's on Monday.
She is so funny.

p.s. Auntie "Lith-la" is paying us a surprise visit in 13 days!!!!
WHOOOO_HOOOOOO

When we found out we were pregnant we decided we didn't need a double stroller. I mean ours was perfectly fine right. Well a few weeks ago, while on our walk, I thought to myself "WHAT AM I THINKING!" Of course I need a double stroller I am not going to sit in the house all week long I will go nuts. So Myron and I looked and researched and found one that did not cost an arm and a leg and we felt would last. Plus its All-Terrian, and has a swievel wheel that locks for jogging. I sent a link to him and our folks in hopes of us being able to save up enough to get it for Christmas and presto, Santa came a few months early.
Thank you so much Grandma Judy and Granddaddy. We Love it!
Rylie was in it first thing the next morning with her babies (another story all in thier own) watching Clifford and drinking her milk!

So once again we are without Internet. Seriously its just the smallest thing this time (I think) but I can't be at the house until Thursday so until then bear with me. Really its just the weekends that get us. You know when you are sitting around talking with your spouse about how badly you need a diaper pail 'cause he can't stand the smell of pee in the cloth diaper's, but can't remember how much they cost and can't even get online to check. Its those little things that get under your skin. How did we ever live without it!

Allison and Rylie watching the hummingbirds.

Saturday was a fabulous day for a baby shower! Our friends Rob and Liz are expecting thier first baby, a girl, September 24th. I could kick myself for not taking more pictures. Honestly I meant to for Liz and her peeps back east, but I just didn't. Sorry friend. I will upload the video once we are back online!

The Boys Contest.
Whoever could chug the beer out of the bottle the quickest won a prize.
Of course we didn't realize the size one nipples would cause such diffuculty!!!

Ry-Ry eating her "cake".
I am a cake lover, she is an icing lover, we are the perfect pair.
