Silly Rylie

So yesterday we went to the Sand Dunes and before I talk about how fun that was I just need to document a few of the conversations we had with Rylie along the way.....

mom: "Rylie, time to get up and get ready, its Sunday Calliou is on this morning"
Rylie: "oh good, I have missed him"

Rylie in the car: "Where are we going?"
Mom: "The Sand Dunes, its a Big Big place with lots of Sand to play in"
Rylie:" Do they have a sand box there?"

Rylie in the car: "Does God have long hair or short hair?"
Mom: "I am not sure?"
Rylie: "What color hair does he have?, What does he wear, what kind of shoes does he have".....(and so on and so on and so on)
{pause} Maybe he looks like Calliou's Grandma!!!

and my favorite of the day......
Mom: Rylie lets take your sweatshirt its a little windy out here.
Rylie: I dont need a sweatshirt  I'm a woman!!!

and Wyatt, well he is getting four molars at once and was content just throwing sand in the air!

Rylieism's.... (a dat early)

So all day yesterday Rylie was whining that her bottom (the cheeks) were itchy. She scratched and scratched. Its hard for a two year old to understand that living in a desert climate, in the winter, with a wood stove will dry out your skin.I tried. It will just do that to ya. She refused lotion on her precious hiney and continued to scratch away. This morning Rylie woke up and with her regular routine she proceeded to the bathroom. When she asked for my help wiping I noticed two little slaps of white something pasted to her sweet cheeks. She of course, refused to answer me, until later. She tell us things on her own accord.

Hours later she said " I put toofpace {toothpaste} on my bottom mom"
?????
"Oh I guess you were pretending it was diaper rash medicine?"
With her head tilted, a slight smile, and feeling ever so proud,
"Yea, I did"

Oh yea, and Happy Birthday Lisser'Lo...

Hope you and Uncle JP have a grand day!!!

Love you

What happens after a pregnant woman comes to our house.

Rylie: "how does you get the baby out of your belly mom?"

YIKES

"well, you have to go to the hospital to get your baby out"

Rylie: "and then how does it get out"

"well the doctor has to get it out"

Rylie: "what does he just unzip it?"

{phew and giggle} Yes, he just unzips it.

A conversation with Rylie

Mom: "Rylie what are you eating?"
Rylie: "Boooogers!"

Later: "Mom, I eating my booogers again."

This being said, Rylie actually has a runny nose. I now have a runny nose. Myron is running away heading to Albuquergue for a training. I no longer am questioning teething. We have a cold, plain and simple.
