Memorial Day Weekend 2016

Knock Knock??
Anyone still here??

I miss this space. I want to be here more and think of it often it just doesnt seem to happen. Maybe now that life is "slowing" down for the summer and I have turned my 4 jobs into just 2,  I can visit and tell youmore.

For anyone out there now, here is a little snipit of our weekend.

Myrons parents are in for the summer. His dad rode Saturday in the Iron Horse Bike Classic. If you have never heard of this ride you MUST look it up. Its crazy amazing what these people do and LOVE it!

We spent a night in Durango with the whole Carr Family after Granddad's race. Its so fun to be together.

After breakfast Sunday we headed to the Yurt up near Lemon Dam. We hadnt been up there for some time and it was Dangerous' first experiance. I must say he throughly enjoyed  most of it.

Snacks and Dangerous can you tell them apart !?

Aunt Kate took the big kids out on the lake for a paddle.

Thats why we call her Super Aunt Kate

Uncle Jon taught the kids about guns and bows...

Always a super fun time with our cousins!!

Now one more week of school....
we can do it!

Memorial Day 2013: Picture Post

Skylar!!

Oh how we love this girl!!

All set up.
Uncle Jon made Wyatt a Bow and Arrow.
He was fascinated with it all weekend.

Target Practice.
This is what happens when you grow up in Colorado!

A few pointers from a expert.

Uncle Jon also had a small excavator there to "play" with.

They watched him work clearing some of the land.

Then Myron and Wyatt gave it a whirl.

Katelynn was quite impressed too as you can tell.

Rylie got a couple rides on the excavator!

Good Morning!
They are becoming expert campers.

Hangin' out with the cuz...

A little hike to the top to find some treasures.

The Yurt

Lemon Reservoir

We were able to spend some more time up at the yurt on Saturday with the fam.
While the dads cut down trees, we wandered the property. We had a great time walking around finding some wildlife.

The kids love to spend time with Skylar,
and I think the feeling is mutual!

Wyatt is still getting his hiking legs.
He enjoys the beginning but doesn't make it very far.

Rylie , on the other hand, could go for miles....

it was a good day to start on wood for the winter....
