Navajo Lake

Lake Part two....

We have been pretty slammed here this week so I apologize for taking so long to post more pictures.
We had the pleasure of hanging out with the Reich Family one day. Kathi and I worked at Gap together in Blowing Rock and hit it off right away. I miss her a ton!! Kathi and her hubby David brought thier girls down to swim and play . It was so great to spend the day with them, we had a blast!!

That boy headed straight for the water like my kiddos did! Must run in the blood!!

Grandma Haynie came down to visit as well.
Such a blessing these kids got to see two Great Gramma's!!!

After a Fabulous time at the lake we weren't quite ready to head home yet. So we stopped off in Boulder to visit the McAndrew's. We don't get up to the Denver area much and we are so glad we took an extra day to spend with them! They are always so much fun to be around. Ailish gave Rylie some soccer tips for the fall and Liam let Wyatt watch him skateboard!

Navajo Lake

We have really been enjoying our time with GeGa and Granddad.

They arrived Wednesday night and Saturday we wandered to Navajo lake to try to beat the heat.

Kate, Jon and Sweet cousin Skylar met us at the beach and we had a wonderful day together.

not much sand, it was mostly mud.
but still fun.

  Not sure why my pictures are loading with a funny coloring to them.

Aunt Kate brought her paddle boards and we got to give it a whirl.

He carried it around most of the day then finally put it on the last 30 minutes or so.

We are off this week for a week of Haynie-Fun. Then we will do a little bit of east coast driving. We will head to Wrightsville Beach, then to Blowing Rock. I say everytime I am not gonna do all that driving again but I always end up doing it. Although I will say it is a tad easier with the kids being bigger. And a chance to reunite the Fab-Four, must not be passed up. We fly back July 15th, so pictures and adventures should be posted the following week.

Week One....

I guess, sometimes, I tend to write directly from my emotions.
Sorry. I was am so tired. It happens. So on to week one. It was fabulous. We relaxed, ate, and swam. "Feet up," Rylie is still quoting her Popeye.

here is Wyatt. He was unsure but ready to go, all at the same time.

Swing, fish feeder, sand, pool, and Internet service all included.

Wyatt was ok as long as a truck was involved. Since he burnt his hands he has been "sensitive" on textures with his feet and hands.

If I believed in Luck I would say Rylie was Popeye's good luck charm.

He caught many fish with her by his side!

Wyatt just drank the ice cream out of his ice cream cone.....priorities....

......Don't be sad I don't have any cool Aunt Lisser pictures. She is making our new little cousin strong and healthy so he can come out and play soon, so we let her slide this time!
