Spring Break 2015 | Moab

Once again we headed to our favorite desert destination, Moab, Utah. I realized on this trip this is our 9th year heading there for our Spring getaway. We used to go for Mother's Day until Myron started working for the schools, but we have gone every spring since Rylie was born. This year we were able to go with a big bunch of friends which made it even more of a treat. Especially for the kids, who we barely saw the whole time we were there.

I actually didn't even take that many pictures, we were just to busy having fun.
Our First day out we took the kids climbing on for the first time. It was so amazing to see them go no matter how scared they were.

Here goes Rylie!

I hadn't been in this saddle in years....

Wyatt's turn

We also did lots of hikes, swimming, bike rides, and ate loads of Smores!
Just so much fun....

Silverton Camp Trip

We have had a busy summer, to say the very least.
And there is so much that needs to be posted here like:
GeGa and Grandad's month long visit.
Friends moving away.
Our Trip to the lake.
Reddog.
The kids swimming.
Our old couch returning home.
Myron's fishing trip.

But for now I am going with the most recent, our camping pictures from the weekend.
We headed to Silverton, CO.

A friend of ours was running the Kendall Mountain Race and with his wife attending a conference, they needed help with their kids for a few hours.
So we found this the perfect excuse to camp with friends!
They had the best time in our camper.

In to town watch their Dad finish the race.
It was a chilly July night that quickly turned hot.
Gotta love living in Colorado.

JD finished this 12 miler cutting over 7 minutes off his last time.
This race is 6 miles up hill mountain and 6 miles down.
It is crazy...

The kids enjoyed the park.

Myron found the "Jeep" at the museum

After the race and some lunch we headed out into the wilderness to find a cave.  For real, we all hiked up a valley to find a cave and then went in. These kids are amazingly brave.
Asher was really hoping for diamonds so he could buy a camper.
Although they did find some small fossils.

After our caving adventure our friends headed home and we decided to visit Yankee Boy Basin. Myron had heard there where some beautiful wildflowers along this old mining road.

The call Ouray the Switzerland of America.
Can't you see why!

We then had another chilly night looking for shooting stars and waking up a little crazier then the day before.
