Christmas Part two...

Christmas morning we woke up to a sick Wyatt. He, however, managed to miss his "field journal" which he had slept with and was very proud of this fact.
Rylie waited until the clock was "almost" 6:00 then woke everyone up. They opened stockings while waiting for everyone from the condo to come over.

Wyatt's Christmas was filled with Hot Wheels.
We then attempted some Haynie Family pictures.
Its been a while since all of us where together.
It felt good!!

not sure whats happening here...

The clouds finally parted and we were able to see the mountains after a week of snow.
It did however get very very cold after this!!

The day after Christmas Mom and Dad headed to Kansas to visit Aunt Patti and Gray and Licia had to head back to Cali. So we all headed to the train museum in Durango to wind down a little.

Boys and their Wall:E

It took us several days to get adjusted after everyone left. Two full weeks with family was so wonderful and we miss them terribly.

**We did take Wyatt back to the Doctor. Because he was having headaches and trouble hearing even after his medicine. He still had a double ear infection and was put on another round of antibiotics. The doctor is wondering if he has a sinus infection as well, which would likely cause the headache's he was having around Christmas. We will go back in 10 days to have another look to see if they have cleared up.

Christmas Part One...

I thought I could share in just one post. I guess two weeks worth of pictures may be to much! Actually we didn't take that many pictures. We were to busy playing, and making sure everyone Wyatt was using a Kleenex.

GaGa was supposed to come in from Finland on Friday the 15th. She had a fabulous time with family overseas. They even stopped by the North Pole! She decided to come here a week early and enjoy some time with the Grandbabies, but of course it snowed. It hadn't snowed here since early November! After a long delay she ended up spending two extra nights in Phoenix. So thankful Aunt Janis was already there to pass the time with!!
James and Lisser were supposed to fly in from Hawaii on Saturday. With all the weather and delays she opted to stay the night in Phoenix with mom and come in on her flight.
Us Carr's had to wait two extra days to see them, it was tough but at least we finally had lots and lots of snow to play in!

Once everyone was finally here cousin time began!
All the kids were so excited to be together, adults were too.
At one point every room was filled to its max here at the "FunHouse"

We celebrated Rylie's birthday at school and James experienced his "first" cupcake

we had fun walking back and forth to Popeye and Gaga's Condo
so thankful to have extra space to hang out,a change of scenery, and another kitchen to cook in...

sippin' on our water
had to teach these flat lander's about living at altitude

setting up for Christmas
Mom brought Grandma Bell's tree, so special...

The elf was adventurous this year!
Of course Wyatt and James were sick when everyone arrived. We took them to the doctor to find out they both had Bronchitis. Wyatt also had a double ear-infection and James was starting to get one too.
So after several  days of being cooped up we finally were able to venture out and go sledding on Christmas Eve.

Rylie and Uncle Gray.
I think Uncle Gray was her favorite to sled with. Somehow he seemed to go the fastest and that was just what Rylie was looking for! She made sure to take a turn with everyone. Even Popeye. Lisser has that picture!

Christmas Eve at the Condo where the Haynie tradition of  a Christmas eve present continued.
However when Wyatt opened underwear first we let them open two...

Wyatt got a very cool, pocket filled vest from Popeye.
he calls it his "field journal" and sleeps with it every night

Rylie received a special gift from Aunt Janis for her Birthday!
Her very own snowflake necklace with her birth stone in it.
It is gorgeous!

watching a Christmas movie before bed.
It was also a treat to watch TV at the condo, seeing as we don't have cable!
more to come....

Coates Visit...

I am having trouble here.
You see when Melissa came she brought her camera with her. Now I want her camera.
{sigh} oh well I guess I might have to save even longer for a new camera now...
My other problem is most of the pictures we took on her visit where on her camera so I am trying to figure out which are OK to post and which not to. In case any are used for Christmas or on her blog. So lets see what I can share here....
bathtime....
This was fun, yet crowded.
As sweet as it looks in this picture, it only happened once, Thankfully.

kid cracks me up

Uncle "Gray-P" was quite the hit.
or maybe it was just his I-pad, who knows?

He was pure sweetness.
Even when he was grunting at 4am, we still loved every second with our Cousin James.

We tried to get outside a little even though it was chilly.

Myron had fun at the park.

These cousins sure did love each other.
I guess we need to start saving for 4 plane tickets to visit them next!
