Memorial Day Weekend 2016

Knock Knock??
Anyone still here??

I miss this space. I want to be here more and think of it often it just doesnt seem to happen. Maybe now that life is "slowing" down for the summer and I have turned my 4 jobs into just 2,  I can visit and tell youmore.

For anyone out there now, here is a little snipit of our weekend.

Myrons parents are in for the summer. His dad rode Saturday in the Iron Horse Bike Classic. If you have never heard of this ride you MUST look it up. Its crazy amazing what these people do and LOVE it!

We spent a night in Durango with the whole Carr Family after Granddad's race. Its so fun to be together.

After breakfast Sunday we headed to the Yurt up near Lemon Dam. We hadnt been up there for some time and it was Dangerous' first experiance. I must say he throughly enjoyed  most of it.

Snacks and Dangerous can you tell them apart !?

Aunt Kate took the big kids out on the lake for a paddle.

Thats why we call her Super Aunt Kate

Uncle Jon taught the kids about guns and bows...

Always a super fun time with our cousins!!

Now one more week of school....
we can do it!

Christmas 2015

This Christmas as been a white one indeed. We are so thankful to have had this great White snow along with some special Family by our side.

Christmas eve we headed downtown to see some friends play at a local Coffee Shop. It was such a special way to start the day and so beautiful downtown.

Then we headed sledding downtown.
It just snowed and snowed.

Christmas eve, Aunt Patti and Scott arrived to say hello and the kids attempted an early bedtime. They did well to waking up. Not coming out of their rooms until 6:15.

We promptly called GeGa and Granddad and they hiked over in the Blizzard to watch us all open presents.

Aunt Patti and Scott came over later in the afternoon where we enjoyed a yummy dinner and another blistery walk through the storm.

It was a very Merry Christmas indeed....

Rylie turns 9

This year for Rylie's 9th Birthday we agreed to test the Slumber Party waters. We invited 7 of her "closest" friends and 6 stayed the night. It was very sweet and fun but I will admit we paid the price for lack of sleep for the rest of the week. But what a wonderful birthday it was for our sweet girl!

We also let Wyatt have a buddy over for the night. I mean the more the merrier right!?!?

Our friend Craig from Greensboro was able to come in last minute for some skiing.
