Our first worry was Red.
How would she react to a mobile little person?(Check out her video)
Well she loves Gracie. She might have barked at first sight of this little crawling, giggling creature but she loves the Gracie. She loves that she can move around all on her own. She loves the fact she doesn't get reprimanded for trying to play with her. She loves that Gracie drops Cheerios all over the floor.
Red is a good dog, she loves the Little Gracie.
As does Rylie who loves to stare and smile at her. They are fast friends.

Today we took a nice hike up to the Chimney Rock. (Yes Lisser we walked from the bottom to the top!) It was Rylie's first "hike" and she had a lovely nap in her stroller. Gracie was able to ride in her pack and see all the sights. However she did miss her naptime. Although she thoroughly enjoyed her hike a nap would have also been beneficial. So now we are sleeping now and all is good again.

hey ladies!!! i love love love the pic of all 4 of you beautiful squirrels together. it just made me smile. i'm so glad rylie and gracie are getting to hang out (and shan and jess and the boys). i miss you!!

Enjoyed the pictures--that was quite a hike but such a pretty area. Were the ruins open?
